Quilt: Goldie
With a gorgeous stack of nature themed fat quarters in an assortment of blue, green and beige, I opted for the Goldie pattern by Then Came June.
Trimming HSTs and trying not to overthink set arrangements.
Using the design wall to make sure I like the spread before sewing blocks together.
There’s beauty on the back side, too. All of these seams remind me of the arduous work put in.
Freshly trimmed after coming off the frame. Pantograph: “china sea”.
Iridescent fish spool makes binding that much more fun. I will attach it to the front with my domestic machine and finish it by hand with a chunky thread on the back.
The crinkle comes after the wash and dry cycle. Like magic.
