Quilt: Lottie
I had a few fat quarters of hand dyed Starr fabrics and this pattern I was eager to try by Penelope Handmade.
I ended up making the 20” pillow-sized block four times and put them together for a perfect little lap quilt.
I had originally thought I would opt for a pantograph with softer shapes as a way to round out the star points, but this angular meander really stuck out to me and I think it’s a fun combination.
Finished the binding on the backside with a chunky thread in a contrast color.
The post wash crinkle is so satisfying!
